Gourmet Escapes was launched by The Great Escape Holiday Company to allow guests to actively participate in the preparation of a three-course gourmet meal from a mouth-watering menu. “During these luxurious breaks, guests’ skills are blended together to make the perfect gourmet meal,” explains Managing Director Marian Rose-Cartwright.
“Guests may arrive empty-handed but they leave with new cooking techniques, recipes and, most importantly, an unforgettable experience in whichever location they choose to visit and experience Gourmet Escapes.”
Magali Robathan from Leisure Management attended a Gourmet Escape and comments: “I thoroughly enjoyed myself and really felt I’d learnt some things I could take away. The house itself was the perfect setting as it’s so beautiful and relaxing.”
Similarly, Karen Barnes, from The Good Housekeeping Institute, enjoyed her stay, adding: “The chef was an inspirational teacher and, with his help, the group created two impressive meals, which we sat down to enjoy at the end of each day-long session. The gourmet break was different from other cookery courses I’ve been on in that it takes place in a home setting, which encourages the camaraderie among the course-goers.”
